UPDATE: Only 2 days left to vote for "Cutest Kid In America"

March 31, 2009

The deadline to vote for "Cutest Kid in America" is quickly approaching. The contest will close at midnight April 2nd!

I just want to thank all of you who have already voted. As of this writing, the entry of Madison Beurgey's photograph is in "2nd"place in the Chicago region!!! I'm so excited!

Wouldn't it be wonderful if a little girl from Lake Zurich was selected as the regional winner, or even the national winner!!?

But, on a more serious note, the money raised for this foundation goes to help parents who are going through one of the worst times in their lives. So if at all possible, please help support this compassionate foundation with your vote of $1 or more. Again, the site to go to vote is www.sandypucvotes.com. Scroll down and select the Chicago region, view gallery, and select A-B. There you will find Madison's picture. Click on it, and it will bring you to a screen where you can place your vote.

Thank you all for your continued support
MaryAnn Ryan

Cutest Kid in America

Good afternoon ladies,

It was nice to see so many of you this morning. As I announced this morning, I have submitted a photo for the "Cutest Kid in America" contest being run by the "Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep" Foundation. If you were not present at today's meeting, I hope you remember the blog I sent out a few weeks ago.

I would greatly appreciate it if you could take a few minutes to log into the site and vote on my entry. Each vote cost $1.00. All proceeds go to NILMDTS a non-for-profit organization that helps parents whose child won't be coming home from the hospital. They have volunteer photographers who donate their time to take keepsake portraits. They have found this to be an extremely effective way for parents to handle a terrible grief they never thought they would be faced with.

I am uploading my entry for you to view. The portrait should be available for you to vote on either today (the 25th) or tomorrow (the 26th). Just go to http://www.sandypucvotes.com/, follow the link to the Chicago region and select gallery. There you will find the photos arranged alphabetically. Go to the A-B tab and find the picture named with my name and either the initials MRB or Madison Buergey.

I thank you all in advance for helping me support this wonderful organization. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me.

Thanks again,
MaryAnn Ryan
