I had to miss last week's meeting and really appreciate getting the minutes from Kathleen to keep up with what happened. Thought I'd put these up here on the blog. . .April showers bring May flowers, we should have a beautiful May!

04.22.09 WIN Meeting – Alpine Chapel

President Arlene Fields:

Pat Muir, brought the meeting to order in Arlene’s absence. Pat brought up Arlene’s request for the speakers to state to the WIN group who they would like to have as a referral. It is requested if we know of any future clients that fit the speakers’ referral we should let that speaker know. We should get registered on the WIN Blog. We did our 30 second introductions.

For those who did not bring their business cards to the meeting, please make a note to have them for the meeting on May 13th. *Sue Schulte needs our business cards for the WIN business card holders for WIN Members. Thank you to members that brought their business cards.

Special thanks from Kathleen to Denise Sepos. Denise suggested that each of us should ask for a referral when we give our presentation of our business. By doing this, it will help each of us to grow our businesses. This suggestion has been instituted in these minutes.

Up and Coming Events:

Our WIN Breakfast will be held in May. Lisa LaManna passed around the sign up sheet for our WIN Breakfast. She stated that the date is May 20th. Please make a note of this. The breakfast will be held at Kemper Golf Course…Buffet Breakfast at 8:30 AM.

Technical Issues: What would all of us want discussed at future meetings?

Sheila will be speaking at a networking event on her book “What Color is your Brain”? on May 4th.

“Good referrals for me would be Small Business and Entrepreneurs, and those who need Virtual Assistance when companies downsize.

“A great referral is anyone who has skin and would like to be pampered. Any one who would like advice on their skin and/or a color consultation is also a great referral. Also, any woman who is looking to make extra income for fun—or to support the family income.”
